ARTPhot technology meets these needs by acquiring high-resolution optical images of superconcentrates obtained from our patented technique and identifying potential gold grains using a machine-learning algorithm. These potential grains are all manually validated under SEM using a transposed coordinate system and high-resolution imagery.
A chemical analysis is also acquired for each confirmed gold grain. The quality of the results remains unchanged. Over 50,000 gold grains have been identified since the implementation of ARTPhot in 2017! As samples are archived, a full ARTGold analysis can be completed at a later date.
