Whether for mineral exploration, geometallurgical studies, the recovery and use of mining by-products, or the characterization of tailings for environmental studies or monitoring purposes, ARTMin technology enables the automated mineralogical analysis of your samples on polished sections.
Like other well-established automated mineralogy methods, the ARTMin method developed by IOS Geosciences does not compromise analysis speed or accuracy. The physical characteristics (size, associations, liberation, etc.) of the minerals of interest can also be calculated. Unlike other methods, mineral identification is not limited to minerals from a predefined library, but rather covers all minerals discovered and approved by the IMA (International Mineralogical Association).
